Kitty isn't feeling too good :(

Do your best to cheer her up!

To play, select click on an item from the right hand side, drag it over and drop it to see if Kitty's mood improves!

This cat stays happy for so long... haha, It's good though. This feels like the perfect little background game I'd play while working on something else. I love the music and the aesthetic here. Very cohesive and nice feeling dragging the objects. I think this is a home run sir! Nice work bud!

The game is really cute and relaxing to play! Also, I like the pleasant background music. Now the game is short, so there's definitely a lot of room for following polishment. When I'm dragging the items to kitty, I always hoped I could have some more interaction with her - even in the simplest form, like touching her head/tail than she will respond to your action. Other than that, I'm not sure if changing the cursor to the corresponding object is a suitable design, because sometimes it looks like you're dragging two items to kitty, which seems a little bit out of space. Other than that, I really enjoyed cheering kitty up, nice job!

It's totally okay to make a simple game with few actions to take, but then it would have to rely on those actions feeling really good to do its magic. While I understand how making pixel arts are time consuming, there are some polishes that take a matter of minutes to make. Simply making the cat bounce/jerk a little when its mood changes adds a lot more vividness to the interactive experience, and it literally takes 2 lines of code to do that with the animator. This would be a really time efficient method of polishing this game.

Hi Raymond! This game is like, super delightful. The art and music and colors all work together to make this really pleasant atmosphere, and the text is simple but strangely endearing. It does take a while for the kitty’s mood to go down - at first, I didn’t even notice that it could do that because of how long it takes (plus the fact that it sometimes doesn’t update until you try to interact with her again). In the description, you said that it’s supposed to be a drag and drop type thing, but you get the same effect from just dragging your mouse back and forth which maybe isn’t what you intended. I also noticed that if you wait for long enough without doing anything, the kitty just gets very happy all of a sudden. Oh, & I wanted some sort of animation on the kitty herself too, even if it’s just a simple little movement up and down and some visual feedback when you feed/brush/pat her!

But yeah, this game makes me really happy! It’s super short right now but I think if you wanted to make it longer, I definitely wouldn’t mind there being more phases between upset and very happy, or even the kitty wanting one specific thing each time so there’s more trial and error between the start and end.
