The long awaited sequel has finally arrived!

kinda.

This is a first person perspective game where instead of a human, you're my adorable little kitty Peanut. Look around and wonder the living room she loves to frequent and do things! It's obviously still a WIP and nowhere near done, I'd hoped to have added more interactive elements but due to various issues i was unable. I still hope you enjoy this little glimpse nonetheless :)

Hey Raymond!

I really love the sound design of your game! The music you picked was very sweet and relaxing, and the meow the cat made when jumping was adorable. I think my biggest critique would be with the movement. Maybe adding some sort of acceleration/deceleration would make it feel alot less jerky, and having the camera bob kind of like a head moving up and down when walking could really sell the feeling that this is a cat walking as opposed to just a floating camera. Additionally, the camera would sometimes clip through objects when looking down. Overall though I think this is a really cute prototype! I had fun playing it.

The sound of the cat jumping is what does it for me. I just want to keep jumping around on everything which is fun. I think a cat simulator is a fun concept in general like goat simulator. If you continue to work on the movement system I think this game has a lot of potential. Good job bud! :)

This is a very cute game - have you ever played Catlateral Damage? It reminds me a lot of that. The way the cat jumps is really satisfying! I wish I could push objects around and knock them over onto the ground - in general, I think more opportunities interaction with the environment is a good thing. I also think having some way of interacting with the world other than just moving around would sell this idea that you’re a cat a lot more and give the game a little more focus, even if it’s just something pretty simple like reaching out a paw and swatting stuff over (like Catlateral Damage does). Right now, the only thing that lets me know I’m a cat and not just a super short person is the meow when I jump. I love the vibe of this though, and I think your choice of music helps me understand the exact feeling you were going for a lot more!!
